An update from Simon #3
As you can see, I'm alive and kicking, all good.
The surgery, I've been told, went very well. They were able to remove more than they had hoped, than they thought, than they thought, which is great.
I don't know how much that is yet, because the surgeon has come around the ceiling this afternoon, but obviously more than what they thought they'd be able to, it was great. I don't think they were hopeful of a huge amount, as I told you before, originally. So, as I said, any more than what they had hoped is good news.
So, yeah, feeling good. Head feels fine, little bit sore, but tiny, tiny bit, and not affecting me at all. A little bit of numbness in my left finger and my ring finger, which is a bit odd, but we're going to ask the surgeon to look at that. But apart from that, yeah, feeling pretty good.
So, yeah, I'll be here tonight and maybe let out tomorrow. I don't know. They make these things happen very quickly.
So, yeah, overall, you know, can't be happier, really, considering, you know, they've bashed my brain around a bit today. So, yeah, these two little war wounds here are where they brace your head to keep it in place for surgery. I didn't have an awake craniotomy in the end. They reviewed all of the newest and latest MRI scans that were done a few days ago and deemed it better that it was a full, what's the word, general anaesthetic for me to go under, which was for about four hours.
So, didn't have to go through that drilling sensation, which is rather nice.
Anyway, I hope you guys are well. Thanks for all your support. You know, I mean that a lot.
Love you guys, speak to you soon.
