On November 16th 2023, Simon was diagnosed with a high grade, primary brain tumour, Glioblastoma. We are raising money to extend Simon's life so he will get to enjoy the important family moments every father should be able to experience.
Glioblastoma is an incurable, vicious disease, with shocking survival statistics of just 9% of sufferers getting beyond 2 years of diagnosis. However, there are treatments available outside of the NHS where the chances of extending life expectancy are dramatically improved, so we’re doing everything we can to raise money to help fund these treatments.

Alternative treatments such as Immunotherapy and Optune® are incredible early stage treatments which are gathering momentum. However, until they become more established, they remain very costly. So the majority of our fundraising will go towards helping to finance these treatments alongside providing essential counselling and wellbeing support for Simon’s direct family members.

We are a small group of Simon’s family and close friends who have come together to do all we can to help give him more time and maximise his quality of life.
